Debbie and Trevor are proud owners of the Obertrauner Hof a 12 bedroomed Pension/Guest house situated at the heart of the idylic village of Obertraun. Only 1 1/2 hours from Salzburg, set in the stunningly beautiful Salzkammergut region of Austria.
All of the rooms are spacious with en-suite facilities, many with balconies opneing onto panoramic views of the Dachstein Massif.
Our position ensures easy access to local amenities; shop, bank, tourist office and
restaurants, all of which are within easy walking distance. We are pleased to offer our guests free; Tea & Coffee, WiFi and Car Parking.
Along with comfortably furnished communal areas, the house has a large guest room with Pool Table, TV corner, hot & cold drinks, seating and childrens play room.
The village of Obertraun is set on the eastern shores of the beautiful Hallstatter See Lake in the Inner Salzkammergut region of Austria. Boasting
a unique blend of 7000 year old history and stunning natural beauty, the Inner Salzkammergut is a special place to visit. Indeed, it is not only the
regions cultural heritage but also its majestic mountains and unspoilt nature that led the UNESCO to declare it a cultural and natural World
Heritage Site, with the beautiful village of Hallstatt at its heart. The ferry will transport you across the lake, providing a stunning panorama of
Hallstatt, where you can spend a day exploring the narrow streets, churches and museum, The pristine nature of the lakes, mountains and woods in the
shadow of the Dachstein provides a real paradise for the wide range of activities that can be enjoyed in the area. Also a visit to the Dachstein

During the winter Obertraun is ideally situated to take advantage of the Dachstein West Ski Pass incorporating 130km of intermediate piste at Gosau (15min away) and the Krippenstein with its 11km run from the top (2min away). The village is also on the Salzkammergut regional railway line and so can be accessed from Salzburg using public transport. We will the happy to provide
